Wessex race day 09th May 2010 |
A dry, overcast day with a very cold wind blowing. A good day for our customer engines, and the few we have just tuned for more power! Tyler, WS84, one of our engines, 1st in both heats, and 1st in the final. Nigel, WS70, one of ours, 3rd in heat 1, 4th in heat 2, and 6th in the final. Caroline,WS70, 1st in both heats of ladies class 2. Mark, WS80, one of ours, 5th in both heats. Steve, WS811, one of ours, running 2nd in heat 1 until hitting the barrier, 2nd in heat 2, and 3rd in the final. Aaron, WS98, tuned by us, 2nd in heat 1, 4th in heat 2, and did not finish in the final. Chris, WS77, tuned by us, 3rd in both heats, and 7th in the final. ![]()
Henry's new toy! ![]() Aaron's Micra a consistent top 3 car now. The Supa Nova is now capable of running in the top 3. Steve was lucky to get away with such little damage after hitting the armco barrier! Two weeks until the next round, and we have a few of these cars in the workshop to try and find a bit more horsepower. |
